Hello friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing few amazing facts about hyperactive hummingbirds. Hummingbirds are the small birds, measuring 7.5-13cm in length. The smallest hummingbird species is the 5cm known as bee hummingbird, which weighs less than 2 g. The largest hummingbird, weighing 18-24 g. They are specialized for feeding on nectar but all species also consume insects and spiders. The name, hummingbird, comes from the humming noise their wings make as they beat so fast. They don't migrate in flocks like other birds, they typically travel alone for up to 500 miles at a time. The flock of hummingbirds can be referred to as bouquet, a glittering, a hover, a shimmer or a tune.
