The Beauty of Autumn 🍂/ Fall Colours
Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. In this episode, we will explore the beautiful colours of autumn.
Autumn, also known as fall, is one of the best seasons out of all four seasons. This season is a cooling off month right between the blazing summer and chilling winter. This season is perfect for taking beautiful scenic photos and spending time outdoors because of it's magnificent colours.
The fewer hours of sunlight and colder temperature triggers a chemical change in tree leaves which turns the leaves into different colours, such as red, orange, yellow, and brown. In North America, autumn starts with September equinox and ends with Winter solstice.
Many cultures celebrate autumn harvest festivals. In North America, the foods particularly associated with this season include pumpkins and apples, which are an integral part of the holidays Thanksgiving and Halloween.
During this season, certain species store seeds and other food in tree hollows and underground for colder months. Please watch a short video on these beautiful colours.
